Specializing in real estate and construction, Meli has led investment, development, and renovation projects, with hands-on experience in structural refurbishments, property extensions, and space optimization. A proven turnaround specialist, she excels at identifying opportunities, implementing strategic shifts, and delivering sustainable, measurable results.

With over 20 years of experience in large-scale construction, concrete restoration, and project management, Richard brings deep industry knowledge and dependable leadership to every project. Raised in a construction family,  he developed  hands-on understanding of the trades from an early age.

Richard spent 12 years working with the City of Boulder, Colorado, where he gained extensive experience in municipal construction and infrastructure development. He then transitioned into residential builds and remodels, which quickly expanded into multifamily renovation projects.

Driven by a love for the ocean, Richard also spent time living in Key West, where he combined his career with his passion for sailing.

With over 20 years of experience in Business Development and Sales, Deane has built a distinguished career. He has an extensive track record of establishing strong connections within the South Florida Construction Industry.

In addition to his deep knowledge of the field, Deane excels in Networking, Marketing, and Negotiation. He also serves as the company’s primary liaison and point of contact for all trade-related sponsorships, events, and industry associations.

Gonzalo Colimodio serves as Financial Controller at Coastal, where he drives financial strategy, operational visibility, and sustainable growth across the company’s painting, concrete restoration, and maintenance services. Gonzalo works closely with Coastal’s leadership team to streamline reporting, enhance cost controls, and support performance-driven decision making.

Luis brings over 30 years of experience in executive and administrative support, with a strong background in project coordination, client communication, and process optimization. His career spans various sectors including coaching, non-profits, and international organizations, where he has consistently delivered tailored solutions to improve efficiency and organization.

At Coastal Painting & Concrete Restoration, Luis plays a key role in streamlining administrative operations, managing documentation, supporting contract workflows, and ensuring that projects move smoothly from planning to execution. Bilingual and detail-oriented, he is committed to clarity, accountability, and results.

With many years of experience in the commercial painting and concrete restoration industry, Sebastian Orozco serves as a trusted Estimator at Coastal Painting & Concrete Restoration. Known for a meticulous eye for detail and deep industry knowledge, he plays a key role in ensuring accurate, competitive bids that reflect both quality craftsmanship and client value.

Orozco brings a wealth of practical insight from years spent in the field, giving him a unique ability to assess project scope, identify potential challenges, and provide solutions that keep projects on time and on budget. Whether working with property managers, general contractors, or engineers,  Orozco is committed to upholding Coastal’s reputation for excellence, safety, and long-term durability in every estimate provided.

Margarita Planas is a dedicated Accounting Manager with over twenty years of experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis. With a strong background in accounting principles and practices, she has successfully led teams in delivering accurate financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

She excels in budgeting, managing cash flow and implementing financial controls that enhance operational efficiency. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines, also has a proven track record of driving process improvements that streamline accounting operations.

Her expertise includes financial statements preparation, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

Maggie Planas holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. She is passionate about fostering a collaborative team environment and mentoring junior accounting staff to promote professional growth and development.

In her free time, Margarita enjoys working out at least five days a week, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family, which helps her maintain a balanced lifestyle and a fresh perspective on problem-solving in the accounting field.

With over 9 years at Coastal Painting and 7 years in property management, Mariana Marti brings a well-rounded background in finance, operations, and strategic oversight. In her current role, she manages Accounts Receivable with a focus on timely collections, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records to support efficient daily operations.

Mariana is driven by results and motivated by the tangible impact of high-quality work. She takes pride in optimizing processes, addressing challenges proactively, and maintaining healthy cash flow to support both the company and its clients. Dedicated to continuous growth, Mariana consistently seeks opportunities to improve and contribute to long-term success.

Eyla Morales is a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager at Coastal Painting, bringing extensive experience in administrative support and office operations. Eyla is recognized for her strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to operational excellence.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, with minors in Finance and Accounting.

Outside of work, Eyla enjoys playing pickleball and spending time at the beach. She has a passion for cooking and loves experimenting with new recipes. Family time is especially important to her, and she cherishes every opportunity to visit and connect with her loved ones.

Rafael Días is an accomplished Project Manager with over a decade of experience in construction, project management, and building regulations. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, he brings a global perspective to the management of complex construction projects—including restorations, renovations, and new builds.

Rafael’s core strengths include quality assurance, cost estimation, budgeting, and project scheduling, all aimed at delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, he is well-versed in structural analysis and design, resource management, and the implementation of effective safety protocols.

Throughout his career, Rafael has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multifaceted efforts, resulting in successful project delivery. Most recently, as a Project Manager at Coastal, he specialized in concrete restoration, spearheading projects with a strong emphasis on structural integrity and long-term durability.

His previous roles include managing multi-million-dollar developments at JC Construction, overseeing significant renovations for Colore in Brazil, and directing major construction initiatives as Senior Project Manager at DEF Construtora. Renowned for his proactive risk management and deep understanding of both contemporary and traditional construction practices, Rafael combines technical expertise with strategic leadership—making him a key driver of success across every phase of the project lifecycle.

Jose Quiñones is an accomplished Project Coordinator at Coastal Painting Concrete Restoration, where he plays an integral role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of restoration projects. With a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Puerto Rico and a solid foundation in Business, Jose brings a unique blend of communication, organizational, and strategic skills to the construction and restoration industry.
